Review of Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel (2009) by Eve F — 21 Jul 2011
This played more like a long TV episode than a movie. The characters didn't discover anything new about life, the universe or anything, there was no real climax to the movie, and the MacGuffin was absolutely awful. At least in Bill & Ted, they formed a band in the future and become famous through their music and by being excellent to each other. In this movie, they were just famous. Why were they famous? Oh, I guess they did something in the future that made them famous, whatever, it doesn't matter. It does matter!
I probably would have received this movie better if it had been sold as a long TV episode, because I did actually enjoy watching it. The acting was good and the writing was funny. Just don't expect to have your mind blown and you'll be fine.
