Hitchcock's penultimate film hardly compares to his classics, but has its moments. It may look like an episode of The Sweeney, but keep watching for some bravura set pieces, notably a sequence with a naked corpse and a truck full of spuds.
Hitch at his most misanthropic, misogynistic, and just plain seedy.
