'Frenzy' is. The storyline/plot is basically about in London is terrorised by a vicious sex killer known as the neck tie murderer. Following the brutal slaying of his ex-wife, down-on-his-luck Richard Blaney is suspected by the police of being the killer. He goes on the run, determined to prove his innocence. The Tagline for the Film is "A deadly new twist from the original Hitchcock" and "From the Master of Shock... A Shocking Masterpiece!", which is a brilliant start for the film. The 1972 film Frenzy was a homecoming of sorts for Alfred Hitchcock. It was his first film in his native England since leaving for America three decades earlier, Frenzy was Hitchcock's first film to earn an R-rating in the United States, as Psycho was originally released unrated.

The Film is terrific, has some dark humour, itâ??s a typical Hitchcock fashion, stylish, theme, it has a good amount of 1970's suspense, its abit odd & weirdo, great scary music and moment in the film, thrilling, creepy and abit eerie. The movie dose showcase alot of British unknown talent and having thrills & chills is a good old fashion London Murder 70's film with loads of good death and a brilliant mystery, crime, horror, romance & thriller in the movie (for its type of genre). The movie is a great show of an early 70's (1972) Mystery/Thriller London England Movie.

The Movie was made on a budget of $3,500,000 and had grossed worldwide at the Box Office; $24,640,820, as a result the film did very well on VHS and DVD sales & rentals. The Film was overwhelming positive review with critics, audiences and fans alike (for the style, theme, acting and director Alfred Hitchcock/ his amazing fans). The movie was distributed by Universal Pictures (all the way through of 1972). People and Critics say that this is the Last Masterpiece Film he did ( but I think its Family Plot because it he last film and it's a Masterpiece itself), but I agree on the last British Masterpiece film he did.

The Films cast line-up is most unknown, but are known for TV shows and TV movie, but they are; Jon Finch as Richard Ian Dick Blaney, Alec McCowen as Chief Inspector Oxford, Barry Foster as Robert Bob Rusk, Billie Whitelaw as Hetty Porter, Anna Massey as Barbara Jane Babs Milligan, Barbara Leigh Hunt as Brenda Margaret Blaney, Bernard Cribbins as Felix Forsythe, Vivien Merchant as Mrs. Oxford, Clive Swift as Johnny Porter and for the rest of the cast, of course the director Alfred Hitchcock dose an amazing job and is an intelligent master-mind and master of suspense as he is the king of suspense.

Overall the film shows a brilliant amount of talent and a great and odd ending showing that final got the murder. This is a different must watch Hitchcock film it different for adults, old people and hardcore fans of Alfred Hitchcock, the film is the last greatest masterpiece that Alfred Hitchcock film he did in the British film industry, While Family Plot was his greatest masterpieces for his last ever film he made before he died RIP A.H. I never really got this film at first, but I know understand it and its perfect in every why you want in an Alfred Hitchcock British film its dark, clever and chilling.

(Funny but thilling and scary aswell and cleverly done).
