Review of French Kiss (1995) by Lee B — 30 Mar 2009

As stated before, while I love horror and sci-fi overall, I?ve been known to love certain rom-coms also. The thing is, like all comedies and action movie, most suck hard and there are few I find great, but those I really love. This is one of them.

I saw this on a young?n date way back when and always liked it. It was even better after I had gone to France, which made me appreciate certain scenes more. And my fondness of Kevin Kline?s performance in this movie is as an ?American? being more ?French? than the French people in the movie is both extreme caricature and brilliant character. And there are two movies that I don?t find Meg Ryan annoying in ? this being one of them. She is perfect in this role. Great idea, concept and resolution to the movie. With very funny moments, both verbal and physical.
