Review of Freeheld (2015) by Désirée S — 23 Mar 2016

The critics reviews of this movie are all rubbish. Maybe you have to be gay to appreciate it. I thought it was really good and very emotional, as the struggle was real. If it was not for her it may have taken years for equal rights to partners pensions.

The opinions of those in this film towards the couple made me so angry, but this is how people were 10-20 years ago and we have moved on a lot since then, yet some people still have these attitudes towards gay people.

It hits home and it is great that a movie has been made about this.
