Review of Freedomland (2006) by B?Atrïce V — 17 Mar 2008
I loved this movie... it was surprisingly touching and deep. It's not what I expected at all. It's not Action Jackson, rather it's a thoughtful human story (more like the Green Mile without the supernatural) about coping with loss, forgiveness, doing the right thing, and poor judgements based on appearances and assumptions.
I think that the actors were seeking some realism in the portrayal of their characters and did an amazing job.
