Review of Free Willy 3: The Rescue (1997) by Matthew M — 08 Oct 2009
The third installment of the Free Willy franchise has an important message about poaching. It does a good job and I thought it was not a bad film at all. It keeps with it message and does not really allow itself to turn into something it is not.
I thought Patrick Kilpatrick did a good job playing the father. No one really overacts at all and it comes out to be a good film. There was not the drama or the suspense of the others but more just a real story about a father and son who have different opinions.
Jesse is more of guide to show Max what is right. Overall, the film reminds me of the first one with its good message.
