Review of Free Willy (1993) by Tristan G — 29 Jul 2009

In retrospect, this movie is way too sappy and way too eco-friendly for me to consider it good, but I always really liked it as a kid. the story's somewhat entertaining, but the kid is really obnoxious and does not make for a convincing or likable hero.

I think August Schellenberg was always the highlight of this movie for me, as well as the two sequels, just because he seemed to be the only sensible and consistent character. always liked the accompanying MJ song, too.
