A not so exciting historical piece about a former Confederate soldier who led a small band against the Confederacy and then became a activist for equal rights. A good story, but not strong enough for a feature length movie.
Maybe better it was told on an episode of a documentary series on The History Channel. Definitely not a summer flick. Should've saved this for September.
