A very captivating era film. Slow at times, but really shows you that not just black people were struggling, but all of the people were struggling. There was no real good vs evil, but rather the entire system constantly suppressed people.
Going back in time like this, was really nice. But the side-plot with the lawyers, should have been cut out.
