Review of Free State of Jones (2016) by Adam F — 12 Nov 2016

The film was well-done and told a story unfamiliar to me. It depicted the Civil War from a different perspective, neither Confederate nor Union. The life of Newton Knight was interesting and highlighted how slowly race equality has been, even after the passing of the 15th Amendment to the Constitution.
