It started out okay, but it dragged on and on. I paused to see how much longer there was, and I was at the HALFWAY mark. There's a lot of long, drawn-out pauses and "thinking" moments that just add to the monotonous pace of the film.
I love historical pieces, and I just could not get into this one after an hour of plodding plot.
