I hate to say Honnold and free-soloing have featured just enough in other productions that a touch of the the visceral edge was lost on me this time out, despite all that I found this all the more intense for getting to know him and his process a little more intimately.
Both awesomely human and other-worldly.
Great production all around.
Happy to hear he may genuinely have retired from free soloing, personally that lent something to the stakes watching this.
