The Matrix, Groundhog Day, They Live, Wreck It Ralph, Gamer, Boss Level and Ready Player One is of the few movies I can name that Free Guy "borrows" many of it premise/plots to tell a story that has been told many times before, it doesn't bring anything new to the table, the only two times I actually started to enjoyed the movie it lost me by the presence of Taika Waititi and the rest of the movie is ruined by the unnecessary wokeness and social commentary.
Yes it is a good movie to pass the time but that is it, no more, nothing new but specially nothing exciting.
