"Free Fire" is nearly just another non-stop nonsense action movie, but it has an artsy style, and enough comedic flair to stand out just a little. Much of the cast is underutilized, and none of their characters mean anything to the viewer with Armie Hammer being the sole standout.
Ben Wheatley does what he can to squeeze every ounce of tension out of this movie, but eventually after an hour or so of nothing but the same things happening over and over again, it gets pretty redundant.
You'll watch the film once, you'll enjoy the film once, but you'll likely never crave a second viewing.
