Review of Free Fire (2017) by Joshua H — 19 Jul 2017
FREE FIRE is a Quentin Tarantino inspired film that takes the last 10 minutes of RESERVOIR DOGS and attempts maintain that intensity for a hour and a half. It fails miserably and it's nothing more than a hamster wheel of gratuitous and grimey violence that's desperately lacks charm, wit or any genuine sophistication to merit entertainment.
For s movie that's filled to brim with action and gunfire it is surprisingly boring despite all it's good intentions.
