Two present day turkeys are horrified with the current state of Thanksgiving dinner ... as the entire thing centers on a prize turkey meeting an untimely death so that rude and disgusting Americans can belch and burp their thanks before falling asleep in front of a football game! After a visit from the "Grand Turkey" telling him to "change" the menu of the first Thanksgiving feast, Jake (Woody Harrelson - The Messenger) hunts down the "time machine" guarded by newly pardoned Reggie so that the pair can "save" turkeys from all future Thanksgivings.

Amy Poehler (Parks & Red) is a lazy-eye'd hen from the past and George Takei voices the Time Machine. I'd say Free Birds has something like 25 minutes of content and the rest is stuffing/filling as a lot of the jokes seem to be on random loop or repeat.
