Review of Free Birds (2013) by Lauren H — 15 May 2014

Well, this was a stupid waste of resources (including my time). I like animation, and I'm great with suspension of disbelief, but the execution of the plot was so ridiculous that it was impossible for me to get into the story. A few characters had cute(ish) quirks and personalities that could draw you in, and the tiny turkey chicks were kind of adorable, but then circle back to contact era native American turkeys with stereotypical face paint and exaggerated accents (inconsistently across the population, including a Mexican accent-- in Plymouth?) and I spent most of the movie making this face >:[.
