Despite having a few funny moments in the first act and looking impressive animation-wise for Reel FX's first film, but once time traveling turkeys Reggie (Owen Wilson) and Jake (Woody Harrelson) end up in 1621, Free Birds ends up becoming a chore to sit through with unfunny gags and a narrative that isn't allowed to go as crazy as it should, given the insane premise.
