Hmmm...where to begin. This movie was badly written, poorly acted, and just plain stupid. In the beginning...you wonder tp yourself, "Where the hell is this movie going?" Then you are utterly disappointed to find some stupid lame-ass story about Freddy having a kid and then some other bullshit about his so-called "life." Sure, visually it can be impressive from time to time, you might be able to get a few good laughs out of it with the right sense of humor, but other than that it's a huge waste of time. The worst part of the movie? The ending. Aside from Far and Away I have never, in all my days of movie watching found an ending quite so atrocious, so absolutely positively fucking disgraceful as the ending to this movie. Let me just script the final words so that maybe you can understand.
(ABOUT FIVE SECONDS AFTER FREDDY DIES).
MAGGIE: (CHUCKLING) "Freddy's Dead!".
(CAMERA FADES OUT WHILE EVERYONE IS STILL LAUGHING/CHUCKLING).
There, I hope that helps you understand what I'm talking about. When it comes to being the worst of the sequels this one is a very good competitor...but I still don't think it's as bad as number two because this one still brought something new to the plate. Even if it was completely ludicrous.
