Review of Freddy vs. Jason (2003) by Alex R — 06 Jun 2010
This film brought back old concepts from 'Nightmare', and stayed true to the styles of both franchises. Freddy was more psychological terror, so he didn't really need his body count, but Jason hacks away like the Jason we all know and love, and the ending provides the audience with mass amounts of horror meat as they hack away at each other.
After hearing some of the ideas they had for this movie in the past, I'm glad they went this way, as it was the most logical. Love it, hate it, the title alone makes it a horror classic over 10 years in the making.
