Unfortunately my dvd player was broken so I had no choice but to watch this on my ipod, kind of ruins the experience but I supose it is better than nothing. I have wanted to see this movie for a while actually, I just never did because I couldn't find anywhere that sold it. The other day, however I did find it for $4, so of course I bought it. My main attraction to the film was Tom Green and Eddie Kaye Thomas. I loved Tom in Road Trip and Eddie was sensational in the American Pie movies.

Tom Green plays Gord Brody, a 28 year old man living in his parents basement, unemployed, and draws cartoons. Brody has dreams that one day he will turn his drawings into an animated tv show. In fact, must of the movie circulates around Brody, and the whole 'Freddy got fingered' statement happens almost toward the end of the movie, and it is really just a minor sub-plot the is really only to loosen the bond between Brody and his dad even more. So really, the title is one big lie. Freddy, who you would think to be the star of the movie, only gets about 5 minutes screen time in total. This was very dissapointing, but I have a feeling the reason for this is that Eddie Kaye Thomas (Freddy) was also working on American Pie 2 at the time of this movies production.

On the topic of actors, the casting and the acting was pretty good, there are always the bad lazy actors in a movie somewhere, but Freddy got Fingered didn't seem to have to many of them.

The plot is fairly simple: Brody wants to become animator, dad wants him to get a job, brody doesnt get a job, dad gets pissed of and hates brody more and more as the movie gooes on. It is fairly simple, but has some interesting and very funny sub-plots (A handicapped woman with a fetish for getting her shins wacked with a piece of bamboo).

This movie is very very very disgusting, and it made me feel sick in one particular part where brody delivers a baby, bites the umbilical cord with his teeth and swings the baby above his head. Tom Green also seems to like to include shots of animals dicks, and him wacking them off as well (an elephant and a horse).

This movie is very strange to say the least. If you are easily offended, or if you get disgusted easily then this movie is not for you (judging by the critics rating I would say there are quite a few out there). Tom Green has a very strange sense of humor, and I suppose you need to share this sense of humor with him to like this film. Overal I really liked the movie though, and its definetly a keeper.
