I was very surprised at how likeable such an awful looking film turned out to be. The acting was decent and Giamatti as Santa Claus is genius. The movie had some serious stuff going on throughout and there were some surprisingly emotional segments here and there.
The creepy elf moments are what took this down a few notches. Ludicris playing an elf DJ? - fail. But overall it's a decent holiday film.
