I remember that the marketing materials for this movie made it look absolutely worthless... and, as such, I didn't give it a chance last year when it was released theatrically. Imagine my surprise when the movie turned out better than I thought it would.
Don't get me wrong, it's no modern holiday classic like Jon Favreau's "Elf," but it was light, enjoyable fare.
