Essentially a daytime TV Christmas movie that so happens to have an all-star cast. The comedy is not good enough as the writing is tired, it lacks wit and charm, and the sentimental parts are too sickly sweet and forced.
It may not be the worst Christmas movie ever, not even close in-fact, but it is still a money hungry cash-in aimed squarely at American mall shoppers whilst they pick up stuff they don't want, don't need and can't afford during the festive season.
