Review of Freaks (1932) by Gilles H — 16 Apr 2008
A film with an important message about inner beauty. You can tell that the director went out of his way to portray the freaks as human and that they have emotions as well.
Unfortunately, the studio cut the film significantly and thus does not have the same impact that it would have. Nonetheless, it is an important film and one of the most unique films ever made by a major studio.
