Review of Freaks (1932) by Stuart S — 14 Jun 2008

I tried very hard to watch this movie as people in 1932 would have seen it, and in fact it was pretty shocking. There were several elements you just do not see even in modern movies, for instance that guy straight out punched that chick in the face.

I think it would have been better had we not seen what happened to that blond chick in the end. I can't tell if the acting was horrible or if that was typical in 1932.
