Yeah, alright, I have a bizarre side to me and have always been fascinated by circus and sideshow freaks. Spent a couple of years studying the history of it as well. While the storyline is fiction, actual working "freaks" played the roles of "freaks" in the film.
Some really famous "freaks" of the day starred in the film like Johnny Eck, Randian, Daisey and Violet Hilton (Siamese Twins) Elizabeth Green the "Bird Girl" and many more. A real cult classic!!!
