Review of Freaks (1932) by Ceara R — 26 Aug 2012
One of the greatest horror movies I've seen in a long time. It didn't scare me, but that's probably because I've been desensitized by movies like "The Exorcist" and "The Ring.
" However, what it lacks in scares, it made up for with a brilliant story, wonderful actors, and a very pleasing ending. The fact that Browning was never able to see the height of this movie's success is a real shame.
It's absolute gold.
