Review of Freaks (1932) by Phillip R — 24 Jun 2010
It seems confused with it's messages, as it both sympathizes with the circus performers and ostracizes them; however, it's certainly frightening and even occasionally sweet. The most appealing film Tod Browning ever made, and that's a pretty big acomplishment when you consider the same director has the original Dracula in his resume.
