By all means, superior to many ?horror? movies filmed in last 30 years. disgustingly disfigured circus attractions may not cause the same resentment of the vast majoritiy of watchers as they did in 30s (movie was banned from cinemas and was tabu until recently), but carefully shaped characters and smartly designed storyline that has an everlasting morale, trully shows us that the real freaks are, actually, greedy and selfish people.
a must-see masterpiece.
