Review of Frankie and Johnny (1991) by Errol D — 09 Jul 2005
Michelle Pfieffer and Al Pacino hit it off in this compulsive romantic comedy.
Al Pacino , is a very unlikely candidate for a romantic movie , but I think this role was well cast because it required a bit of agressiveness and hint of danger ( being an ex con ) and thats what fits Al Pacino like a glove.
Pfeiffer is beautiful in parts where she is needed to be and gaunt in others.
The supporting cast does an excellent job of ..well , supporting.
A different Al Pacino movie , no doubt , but entertaining as hell !
