Review of Frankie and Johnny (1991) by Karen S — 01 Aug 2008

While I cannot claim that Al Pacino is a bad actor, he certainly placed a strong and safe bet on the title of the most hideous portrayal of a male bachelor ever seen on wide-screen. The lukewarm, sticky ball of snot under the name Johnny really made my stomach turn.

I apologise for my derogatory language but if I was ever forced to choose between Johnny and Otto (God forbid), from the Finnish tv-series 'Irtiottoja', I'd point blank go for the latter one.

Otherwise a mediocre film.
