Review of Frankenweenie (2012) by Jorge D — 11 Mar 2013
More accurate reinterpretation of a short directed by Tim Burton in the '80s, "Frankenweenie" is a legitimate representative of the authorial film more, by which the filmmaker is recognized and revered when he is not busy performing some overproduction commissioned by some of the big Hollywood studios .
In "Frankenweenie" Burton exercises all that is worshiped; characters markedly "weird", the story full of references to horror movies of yesteryear, and the content sentimental, but with touches of black humor throughout this curriculum director, since "Edward Scissorhands. ".
For those who enjoy this universe, the animation in black and white, which tells the story of a boy scientist who tries to revive his beloved dog after a hit has everything to please. With charismatic characters, devastating technique and flair, the animated adventure can provoke and enthrall in equal measure, making the magic that has become a specialty of Burton, happen again.
