Review of Frankenweenie (2012) by Deusdedit D — 22 Mar 2013

I've always been a big fan of Tim Burton. I think that his style is unique. I also love it when Tim Burton makes his own ideas into movies.

Frankenweenie is an excellent film. I think that this stop motion remake is vastly superior to the original live live action short film of the same name from 1984. Even though the original was directed by Tim Burton, it did not look and feel like a typical Tim Burton film, however this new remake does in every way.

This remake of Frankenweenie is greatly expanded and is detailed very well. The storyline is good and easy to understand, the stop motion animation is excellent, the voice cast is great, Danny Elfman's score is beautiful, and the film was shot in Black & White and I think that it suits this movie perfectly.

I am really impressed with Frankenweenie. TIm Burton has done it again.
