Movie night with Iris.
Tim Burton goes back to an early Disney short and this certainly has its moments. Set in a B&W 1950s US suburbia this has hints of the Cold War and anti-communist hysteria. Science its evil you see.
It is warm with some funny moments. It has fun referencing every horror film going, not to mention The Birds and Vertigo. But it still feels like a clever short and it totally runs out of steam by the end.
