Review of Frankenweenie (2012) by Andy G — 20 Oct 2013
Frankenweenie is really stylish - maybe too much so. It looks great, really. But the movie has some inappropriate vocal actors for the job, and nothing is particularly memorable in the way it is written.
The ending sequences reminded me of the numbingly blasé scenes at the end of Pacific Rim, and this is a claymation for God's sake! It's cute, but not cute enough. It's boring, much too boring.
