Review of Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943) by Brad D — 13 Jan 2007
Lamebrained plot ludicrously brings together two of Universal's classic monsters. Chaney is good again as the cursed Larry Talbot, but Bela Lugosi is laughably bad as the Frankenstein monster. It seems that the monster's ability to talk and his blindness, a result of the previous film Ghost of Frankenstein, were scratched from the finished film.
I don't know if it would have helped. Still, it's an enjoyable movie from a very different age of monsters.
