Review of Frank (2014) by Mason G — 25 Aug 2014
I really enjoyed this movie. It's co-written by Jon Ronson, whose books (The Psychopath Test, The Men Who Stare at Goats) are explorations of the fringes of western society. "Frank" isn't too far off from that subject material.
The title character is an indie-rock front-man who apparently lives his life inside of a big wooden head (in one scene, you see that he even showers in it). It's a fun, weird and at times moving story about artistic integrity and the lengths that some are willing to go in its pursuit.
