Review of Frank (2014) by Daniel S — 02 Sep 2014

Clever idea for a film, pokes fun at the indie rock scene but doesnt shit on it, gleeson is likable in the lead, and fassbender is great as always as the titular Frank, and is able to convey emotion and evoke sympathy despite having a huge mask on his head the whole time, they also go to sxsw which was cool for me since ive been there, I dont think the 2nd half is as good as the first half, the drama kinda takes over and I didnt enjoy that as much as when they were creating music, but its still enjoyable, and the final song was pretty good.
