Review of Frank (2014) by Mark W — 15 Nov 2014

'Frank' is basically a story about an indie/avant-garde band trying to record their first album - the only difference is that their lead singer wears a Deadmau5-style mask. Jon (Gleeson) is the new keyboarder and gets sucked in to the band's madness where he clashes with Clara (Gyllenhaal), but it'a really about discovering who Frank (Fassbender) is under the mask.

Turns out he's just a mentally unstable guy. Nothing really too crazy happens - sure, it has funny moments, but too much weirdness for it's own good. And, unfortunately, no good music...
