Review of Frank (2014) by Seth Y — 24 Jan 2015

Frank surprised the hell out of me. You can tell just by the poster that you are in for a unique experience, and that's exactly what this is. It's funny at times, but doesn't hesitate to be dark and sometimes depressing.

This combination from director Lenny Abrahamson results in an impressive, well put together film. Considering the nature of his character (giant fake head), I didn't expect to think anything of Michael Fassbender's performance.

Damn was I wrong though, because he absolutely kills it. It's such a strange and mesmerizing character, completely off the wall the entire time. I really enjoyed this one, it's totally bizarre and different.

I've been thinking about it since the credits started rolling.
