Review of Frances Ha (2013) by Ian F — 25 Jul 2013
This is the story of my life right now. Quirky and odd but still a ton of fun this is a brilliant time capsle; a look at Generation Y and moreover people at the age of 27, people no longer in college but still unsure, or unsettled.
It isn't classic Hollywood, the point isn't to live happily ever after, rather to be and find a place of your own. Literally. And it works so well and offers optimism where pessimism abounds. Featuring a 90s soundtrack, a well shot and perfectly cast film, I loved it!
