Review of Frances Ha (2013) by Nathan M — 19 Nov 2013
Director Noah Baumbach's obsession with young hipster culture has never been more entertaining or accessible than with this latest effort. Greta Gerwig is both the epitome and the best deconstruction of the quirky hipster girl, and while her friend all might be the same character, I really enjoy that character.
Thoroughly enjoyable, even if it's a little light on deeper messages.
