Review of Frances Ha (2013) by Ken L — 30 Nov 2013
This movie is one of the best in a not so new genre I will label "Wo-mance" movies. These can include such notables as "Thelma and Louise", and my favorite, "Welcome to the Dollhouse". The ladies involved are much closer to each other than to any of their male friends and the audience can both feel their love for each other and hopefully relate to the platonic same gender affection.
This movie is moving, extremely well acted and memorable. It is newly added to my top ten favorites of all time.
