Review of Frances Ha (2013) by Auðunn L — 02 Jan 2014
The latest from Noah Baumbach is a great starring vehicle for Greta Gerwig, who is well on her way to establishing herself as a notable actress in the shark tank of Hollywood. Its a great adult story about an aspiring ballet dancer trying to find her place in the world.
A proper bag influences ranging from Woody Allen to the French new wave with a great mix of tunes to enhance its soundtrack. A high point for this year's list in indie cinema.
