Review of Frances Ha (2013) by Scraper — 09 Jan 2020
Frances is relatable and likable. Densely packed with funny and often awkward dialogue, she switches between self-absorbed and earnest. But even when Frances is sabotaging herself, her friendships, or relationships it still seems understandable because none of us are perfect.
That's what this film translates so well.
