Review of Frailty (2012) by Alex C — 28 Apr 2010
Frailty revolves around a questionable concept and sticks by it throughout, which makes it differ from other movies in this genre. I say questionable concept because it is something which can make you want more answers than those given. The style, on the other hand, is something I really liked and elements of this can be seen throughout (Like the conversation in the car).I thought the narrative bit was handled well and also the overall somber tone was consistent throughout.
Not without its loopholes, the movie can leave a few questions unanswered but the story is involving enough to forget this.
Overall, this is a good movie to watch esp if you don't bring your own personal beliefs into it.
An 8 for being different, different-good.
