Paxton's direction and performance are both pleasant surprises in what should have been a lame, predictable thriller. Without giving away spoilers, my only problem is that the last ten or fifteen minutes effectively betray what I liked so much about the rest of the script.
Otherwise, fine acting, wonderfully suspenseful music from Brian Tyler and overall an appropriately morbid atmosphere. (I originally gave it 3 1/2 stars, but I've spent the last two weeks thinking about the movie, so that has to count for something.
).
