Review of Frailty (2002) by Brian R — 30 Jan 2009
This movie was better than I thought. Bill Paxton did a nice job directing, and I liked the ending. The whole story is a little hokey and overblown, but you know that pretty early on anyway, so it's easy to just go with it. Kudos to Matthew McConaughey for starring in a movie that doesn't suck.
Trivia alert: Three of the lead actors in this movie (Bill Paxton, Matthew McConaughey and Powers Boothe) are from Texas, where the story is set.
